The leaders of Foshan Municipal Ecological Environment Bureau and a delegation visited Liancai Chuangyi Packaging Factory in Chencun Town, Foshan City to investigate and visit the whole factory’s comprehensive VOCs treatment project contracted by Yurcent environment

On February 24, 2023, more than 20 leaders from Foshan Municipal Ecological Environment Bureau, Shunde District Ecological Environment Branch and Chencun Town Government visited and investigated the whole factory’s comprehensive VOCs treatment project of Foshan Chencun Town Liancai Chuangyi Packaging factory. This project was contracted by Yurcent Environmental Technological Co., Ltd. In 2021.

On February 24, 2022, Foshan Municipal Ecological Environment Bureau sampled and checked that the Non-methane Hydrocarbon was stable less than 30mg/m³, The ultra-low emission completely meets the the environmental protection requirements, and has been unanimously praised and recognized by experts and leaders. The hot water regeneration can meet all energy consumption of workshop production and curing equipment, which effectively presents the economic value of this project. 

Source of exhaust gas

Exhaust gas mainly comes from printing, compounding, extrusion and other production equipment that need to use ink and solvent.

Exhaust gas composition

The main VOCs are ethyl acetate, n-propyl ester and isopropanol.

Treatment scheme

XI'an Yurcent Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. adopts the organized exhaust gas LEL air reduction and concentration method to optimize the exhaust gas from printing and compound equipment, reduce the exhaust volume, increase the exhaust concentration, and directly send the exhaust gas to Rotary Valve RTO for incineration and emission up to standard.The unorganized low concentration exhaust gas from the vicinity of production equipment such as printing and compound, corridor, ink mixing room, ambient air, etc. is concentrated by Zeolite Rotor, and the VOCs unorganized exhaust gas of whole plant is collected and controlled, and the organized exhaust gas is purified and treated efficiently, and the waste heat generated by exhaust gas is converted into hot water for heat of workshop equipment, that is, “20000m³/h Rotary Valve RTO+60000m³/h Zeolite concentration Rotor+ hot water regeneration system”.

This project was delivered to customer in 2021. On September 21, 2022, Luxiulu, director of the Provincial Department of Ecological Environment, Chenweiming, deputy mayor of Foshan City, Wukaizhao, member of the standing committee of Shunde district committee, inspected the volatile organic compounds collection and control facilities of Liancai Chuangyi packaging factory in Chencun Town, Shunde district, Foshan City. The director Luxiulu stressed that the frequency of on-site law enforcement should be reduced for enterprises that stably meet the standard of emission. And the technology of pollution control should be feasible, economic and reasonable, so that most enterprises can reach the advanced emission level in a normal way.
